Our operating manual

Serendipity needs standards.

Stumble Again is a discovery engine for the open web. It does not search for an answer. It picks one promising door, explains why it chose it, and lets you keep moving.

01

AI scouts the open web

A search-enabled scout looks for original, useful, surprising sites across every catalog topic while excluding domains already covered.

02

A separate system validates

Every candidate must be reachable, public, readable, original, safe, low-risk, and genuinely worth a visit. Passing sites enter the approved list; uncertain cases wait for judgment.

03

Your choices tune the trail

Selected interests provide a starting signal. Likes raise the weight of related topics; passes lower it; recent pages are suppressed so the experience stays varied.

04

Randomness stays in the room

The engine scores eligible pages, then makes a weighted-random choice from the strongest group. The top-scoring result does not win every time.

Editorial firewall

Recommendations are not for sale.

Sponsors can buy a clearly marked banner outside the discovery result. They cannot purchase a higher recommendation score, hide an advertisement inside the organic catalog, or see an individual person’s browsing profile.

What we reject

  • Malware, deceptive downloads, and phishing
  • Thin affiliate or copied-content pages
  • Hate, illegal commerce, and explicit sexual content
  • Pages built primarily to display ads
  • Broken, inaccessible, or compulsory-login pages
